SYMBOLISM OF THE CHENNAI MARATHON
EMBLEM
An epoch-making event as the Chennai Marathon, demands an
emblem that will appropriately convey the essence of the Marathon
wrapped in the quintessential charm of Chennai. The Triumph
of Labour Statue stood tall in the search to
depict the significance of the Marathon - indomitable human
will and enduring fortitude. This masterpiece, unique to Chennai,
stands in proud testament to man's perpetual battle against
challenges and his eventual triumph. The emblem of the Chennai
Marathon depicting a marathoner emerging from the Triumph
of Labour Statue represents all that a marathon stands for
- passion, perseverance and persistence. |
